What is 'Interclub'?
Staten Island Interclub Swimming and Diving is the summer sport for many swimmers from South Shore, Hillside, Great Kills, Richmond County and Village Greens. Swimmers participate from preschool ages all the way through the summer following their high school graduation. Sharks get around...
The South Shore Sharks meet each of the other Interclub teams twice during each season. Once for a home meet and once for an away meet hosted at the other's club. These eight Interclub swimming and dive meets are concentrated during the month of July. The season ends with all of the team's sending their best swimmers to the Staten Island Swimming and Diving Championships, usually held over the course of three days in early August.
